- If you have a grudge against some of your properties, turn to the Creator. He is the One who created them and He is the One who would correct them.

- Fear
When fear comes upon a person, one should know that there is none else but Him. And even witchcraft. And if one sees that fear overcomes him, he should say that there is no such thing as chance, but God has given him an opportunity from Above, and he must contemplate and study the end of which one has been sent this fear. It appears that it is so that he will prevail and say, “there is none else besides Him.”

We are “vessels that feel,” hence everything begins from our sensation of the Upper Force. We all want something. If we could feel that this something came from someone, our attitude to reality would change drastically; now, we would have someone to relate to. The study of Kabbalah can help us feel the Upper Force, the sensation of the Giver.

It is quite possible that there are other worlds that exist in the same space as ours that we simply don’t make contact with because these worlds are in a different dimension. But if we remain confined to the boundaries of our own nature, we will never be able to discover them. These other worlds are where our roots are, the reasons for everything that happens in our world. There we will find the reasons for our own life and death.

As a person comes to understand himself and the Creator, he begins to feel the completeness as though he is returning to it. The sensation of fulfillment in these situations is called “pleasure,” and the desire to feel the Creator as supreme completeness is called “vessel.”

Every birth in our world signifies a correction of the corporeal level of desires. Even if a person studied Kabblah in the past and reached a certain level, but not a final one, that person must be born as a baby, suffer, learn, and arrive at Kabbalah from the beginning. But the student will very quickly return to the level of the previous life and continue from there. There is never a repetition, only new corrections and additions to the previous life.

The thing is that states are always evaluated with respect to the attaining individual. If one does not feel His nearness, then nothing will come out of it, as everything is measured according to one’s sensation. One person may feel the world as filled with abundance, and the other will not feel the goodness of the world, so he cannot say that there is a good world. Instead, he states as he feels–that the world is filled with suffering.

Thus, it can be said that all bodies, irrespective of their multitude, form only one body from the perspective of the creation, since there is no individual difference between them to differentiate one form the other. From this perspective, in order to understand others and the entire world around us, and to understand how to relate to what is outside our own bodies, it is enough for us to look within and to understand the self.

While we rely solely on our five senses, we feel that we can do with reality as we please. Once we enter the spiritual world, however, we realize that it is, in fact, reality that does with us as it pleases. From a certain level of spirituality and above, we understand that we are the ones who are building our own reality. In other words, we recognize that reality is a kind of projection of our own selves.

And do not say that if Lishma is a gift from Above, then what good is one’s surmounting and efforts and all the remedies and corrections that one performs in order to come to Lishma, if it depends on the Creator? Our sages said in that regard, “You are not free to rid yourself of it.” rather, one must offer the awakening from below, and that is considered “prayer.” There cannot be a genuine prayer if he does not know in advance that without prayer it cannot be attained.
